Irish hotels top online travel poll
Two Irish hotels have received top ratings in an online travel poll.
The four-star Brooks Hotel in Dublin and the four-star Ballygally Castle Hotel in Antrim scored high ratings on the hotelconnect.co.uk questionnaire.
Guests who booked accommodation via the website where asked to rate it on their return.
Brooks, in Dublin’s City Centre scored 4.9 out of 5 while Ballygally on the Co Antrim coast received 4.8 points.
Ballygally duty manager Michael Grant said: “We’re delighted with this. Business is booming at the minute as it’s the height of the summer.
“This news is absolutely fantastic and we are delighted to have been rated so highly.”
Guests were asked about the experiences in the hotel, including what they thought of the rooms, service and location.
Other premises highlighted in the results were the Duodo Palace in Venice and the Amry Diagonal in Barcelona.
