Huge jump for ISEQ

Irish shares enjoyed an impressive rebound this morning, following serious declines last week.

Encouraged by the proposed federal support for US mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the ISEQ index soared by more than 2.5% to gain 126.03 points to 4.540.83 by mid-morning.
