Aviva appoints new group chief risk officer

Hibernian parent company Aviva has appointed Jim Webber as its group chief risk officer.

Webber, previously group actuary and economic capital director at Aviva, will take on the role with immediate effect.

Reporting to Philip Scott, Aviva group finance director, Webber's portfolio will include compliance, group business protection, economic capital and enterprise risk management.

Webber will retain the economic capital elements of his current role.
