ICTU hails EU Agency Workers Directive as 'major step'

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions is welcoming a deal on the new EU Agency Workers Directive as a 'major step forward'.

The EU member states have struck an agreement that will give agency workers the same pay and entitlements as are granted to a company's permanent workers.
