LSE fails to allay competition concerns
The London Stock Exchange came under pressure on its own market today as fears over its prospects amid increased competition overshadowed a 45% leap in annual profits.
LSE shares fell 5% as investors showed their concern over the group’s plans to defend itself against rival exchanges planning an assault on the European market.
