Helpline opens as Bank of Ireland confirms data theft

Bank of Ireland is to open a helpline this morning for anyone concerned about the theft of sensitive customer information.

The bank has confirmed that four company laptops were stolen between June and October of last year, but the 10,000 customers whose details were on the computers have still not been informed.
