Dodds optimistic about North economy despite global crunch

There are grounds for optimism about the future for the Northern economy despite the credit crunch and global slowdown, the North's Economy Minister Nigel Dodds said today.

Despite the global slowdown, progress in the province’s labour market and trade performance provides a springboard for future growth , he said.
