Consumer confidence unchanged over March

Consumer confidence has remained unchanged over the past month despite increasing economic uncertainty, according to IIB Bank.

The bank says concerns about the prospects for the economy were offset by new job announcements in March.

However, it is also predicting that consumer sentiment could deteriorate this month due to further turmoil on the global financial markets.
