The London market dropped back below the 6000 barrier today as concerns over house prices brought the recent rally to an end.

The London market dropped back below the 6000 barrier today as concerns over house prices brought the recent rally to an end.

The FTSE 100 Index closed down 24.6 points at 5990.2 after the latest data from Halifax Bank of Scotland revealed a 2.5% fall in property prices last month.
