Today saw some positive trading on the Irish Stock Exchange, with the ISEQ index closing up 37.44 points to 6,389.40.

Today saw some positive trading on the Irish Stock Exchange, with the ISEQ index closing up 37.44 points to 6,389.40.

The financials had a mixed day. Both Irish Life and Permanent (up 25c to €12.80) and Allied Irish Banks (up 15c to €14.10) performed well. Bank of Ireland was down slightly, slipping 3c to €9.58. Anglo Irish Bank dropped 23c to €8.37.
