Vivas says policies will not be affected by takeover

The health insurance firm Vivas is reassuring customers that their policies will not be affected following the company's planned takeover by the Hibernian Group.

The group is set to acquire a 70% shareholding in Vivas in a deal estimated to be worth around €12.5m.

The move is subject to approval by the Competition Authority and the Financial Regulator.
