Two companies to create 90 new jobs in Galway

Almost 90 new jobs are set to be created in Galway over the coming years following announcements this morning by two companies.

The Green Isle frozen foods firm says it plans to create 70 positions over the next three years in Portumna.

Another 19 jobs are set to be created in Galway city by the US company Thermo King, which specialises in refrigeration units for transport vehicles.

The two investments are being supported by the IDA and Enterprise Ireland.
