Model train firm Hornby hit by supply problems

Model train firm Hornby warned on profits today after supply chain problems and softening UK demand hit sales.

The group, which also makes Scalextric model racing car sets, said delays in shipments from the Far East had impacted European results, with UK performance also being hampered by a spending slowdown in recent weeks.
