BA considers Iberia takeover bid

The boss of British Airways has not ruled out making a bid for Spain’s national flag carrier Iberia, it was revealed today.

Former Aer Lingus chief Willie Walsh, who is keen to expand into the lucrative South American market, said any deal would “depend on the price”.
