New look BUPA reports 'excellent year'

Private healthcare insurer BUPA today said profits were likely to be lower this year as a result of recent deals and its exit from Ireland.

However, the group said its main businesses – covering insurance and care homes - would continue to grow well, adding that medium to long term prospects for BUPA remained strong.
