Fruit and vegetable group Total Produce has announced pre-tax profits of €33.2m for 2007, up from €18.9m in 2006.

Revenue for 2007 increased year-on-year by €570m to €2.43bn.

Revenue excluding share of joint ventures grew 36.4% to €2.15bn. The majority of this increase was in the general produce division and reflects in particular the acquisition of Redbridge Holdings in

January 2007 and the contribution of a significant number of bolt-on acquisitions during the year.

The current year also saw the full year impact on revenue of the acquisition of the remaining 50% of

Lembcke A/S in September 2006.
