Airline unveils flexible business service
Air Southwest, which is to launch its summer service from Cork to Newquay and Cork to Plymouth city from Monday, April 28, has said it would be introducing a range of value-added extras for customers.
Their new Business Plus ervice would provide passengers with fully flexible business fares which could be ebooked on-line at www.airsouthwest.com.
Air Southwest would give Business Plus customers the opportunity to change flights, any time they liked up to two hours before departure, at no extra charge, company chief executive Jim Cameron said.
This facility was aimed at those who might run late or if travel plans have to change at the last minute.
Other key benefits of Business Plus included customers being able to relax in executive lounges at most airports served by Air Southwest.
The company said that customers could also use a dedicated Fast Track security channel once they had checked-in.
Business Plus’ users could check-in up to 30kg of baggage at no charge, in addition to a generous allowance on free hand baggage.
On board, they would be offered a complimentary, drink whilst en-route to their destination, said Mr Cameron.
Air Southwest included all taxes and charges in its fares.
Air Southwest is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Plymouth-based Sutton Harbour Holdings Plc.
The group owns and operates Plymouth City Airport.
