Topaz announces 400 new jobs

Topaz Energy Ltd has announced a €50m investment programme and 400 new jobs to support the launch of the new Topaz brand in the Irish fuels and retail business.

Topaz has a turnover of over €3.5bn a year.

The company expects to create 400 new jobs as a result of this investment programme.

Topaz bought the Irish retail and commercial fuels businesses of Shell and Statoil in 2005 and 2006 respectively and is now the largest fuels business in the country.
