Irish firm wins Emmy for special effects software
An Irish company has won a prestigious Emmy award in the US for its work in the gaming and movie industries.
Havoc, based at the Digital Hub in Dublin, designs software for computer games like 'Guitar Hero II' and movies like 'The Matrix'.
The company, which began as an incubation project at Trinity College, says the Emmy award places it at the forefront in special effects design for games and films.
