There was fresh evidence of a cooling housing market in the UK today after mortgage lending slowed further in November, the British Bankers Association (BBA) said.

The UK's main high street banks lent £4.3bn (€5.88bn) on mortgages in November - £500m (€684.1) less than the previous month.
