Business premises burglaries increase at Christmas says report

Companies have been warned that their premises may be at risk over the festive season.

A recent report by Irish security company Netwatch has revealed that vacant business premises may be targeted.

It also says 72% of attempted break-ins over the Christmas period occurred between the December 25-28.

The findings have also revealed that 22% of these occur between 1am and 6am on Christmas morning.

Netwatch is advising businesses to beef up security over the festive season.
