A brighter day has been promised for investors on the Irish market today as banking stocks take tentative steps back into positive territory.

IL&P rose 26c to €13.05, Bank of Ireland climbed 13c to €10.33, AIB went up 7c to €14.97 with Anglo up 5c at €10.65.
