Nearly half of small and medium-sized British firms believe changes to capital gains tax (CGT) will have a negative impact on their business, a survey said today.

The study conducted by GfK NOP for the CBI examined the impact of the proposed tax changes, and the recent credit crunch, on small and medium-sized business.
