Vodafone Ireland expands into broadband market

Vodafone Ireland Limited have announced that they have bought Perlico.

Perlico provides fixed-line voice and broadband services in Ireland.

The acquisition enables Vodafone to offer mobile, fixed-line voice and broadband communications services.

Vodafone Ireland has 2.2 million mobile subscribers, while 62,500 customers use Perlico, of which 25,000 are broadband subscribers.
