Hibernian owner Aviva today revealed a 21% jump in worldwide sales from its life and pensions businesses.

Aviva shares rose 3% in London in the wake of the third quarter update, which showed sales for the nine months at £22.9bn (€32.8bn). The profits contribution from new business was up 24% at £818m (€1.17bn).
