Oil firm predicts recovery from profits slump
Oil giant BP today offered hopes of a recovery from its recent woes despite a 45% slump in profits.
The company, which has been hit by problems at its US refineries as well as falling oil and gas production, said third-quarter profits had slipped to $3.87bn (€2.7bn).
