Flyglobespan to debut direct flights at Dublin Airport
Dublin is to get its first scheduled flights from flyglobespan, when the airline launches a service to Calgary and Vancouver, starting May 12, 2008.
The web-based airline is to fly every Monday to the Canadian cities, with prices from €356 (one way, including taxes) available to book now.
The transatlantic flight will offer a choice of two classes – Premium Economy and Business Class.
"We are delighted to be offering passengers from Dublin a direct flight to Vancouver and Calgary for the very first time," said flyglobespan chairman Tom Dalrymple.
"We know the market in Canada very well and this knowledge, combined with our ability to offer great fares, gives us a great product that I think will be well-received by our customers".
