Silverjet unveils Dubai service

Business-class only airline Silverjet today announced it is to launch a new daily service to Dubai from Luton.

The group, which is scheduled to begin its second daily service to New York Newark on September 23, said it will start running the Dubai service in November.

The news came as the company posted a pre-tax loss of £18.2m (€26.2m) for the year to March 31, including a write-off of £6.3m (€9m) from its acquisition of Flyjet and Skylease in October, following its decision to drop the charter operations.
