Ryanair today informed passengers that the Spanish Government has introduced new measures requiring all passengers travelling to Spain (including the Canaries and Balearic Islands) from the UK and Ireland to provide passport or National ID data prior to flight departure.

Ryanair today informed passengers that the Spanish Government has introduced new measures requiring all passengers travelling to Spain (including the Canaries and Balearic Islands) from the UK and Ireland to provide passport or National ID data prior to flight departure.

This is known as 'advance passenger information' ('API' or 'APIS' data) and all passengers travelling from September 19th will be required to submit the following details:
