ITN appointed producer of Setanta Sports News

ITN has been appointed producer of Setanta Sports News, a new 24-hour sports news channel jointly owned by Setanta Sports and Virgin Media.

The channel will be available initially to Virgin Media’s 3 million digital subscribers across the UK later this year and to a wider base in the early part of next year. The channel will operate hand-in-hand with Setanta’s sports channels, which include live coverage of 79 Barclays Premier League games, all 48 Rugby World Cup games and live Champions League and UEFA Cup.
