Provident shrugs off debt worry
Low income household lender Provident Financial today brushed aside concerns over the impact of the debt market crisis as it posted a 19% rise in interim profits.
The group said it was “totally unaffected” by the global credit squeeze that has left many other sub-prime lenders struggling to raise funds.
