Oral B to lay off 40 workers at Newbridge plant

Oral B has announced plans to lay off 40 workers at its plant in Newbridge, Co Kildare.

The company says it has negotiated 40 voluntary redundancies that will come into effect between October and December.

Some of the jobs are being outsourced to Mexico.

Last week, 41 jobs were also lost with the closure of the Quinn Package Plant in Newbridge.
