British hotel chain buys contents of Jury's Ballsbridge

Anyone hoping to secure a souvenir from Jury's Hotel in Ballsbridge at auction this week is facing disappointment.

The contents of the hotel were due to be put up for sale following its closure earlier this week.

However, reports this morning say they have all been bought for around €1m by an unnamed British hotel chain.

The contents of the adjacent Berkeley Court Hotel are still due to go on auction next month.
