AIB slashes house-building estimates for next year

Economists at AIB have reportedly cut their estimates for the number of houses they expect to be built in Ireland next year.

Reports this morning say analysts have found that the main response to higher interest rates and reduced demand for housing has been a fall-off in building activity rather than lower prices.
