Coca-cola pay strike called off in UK
A planned strike by Coca-Cola workers over pay has been suspended following an agreement to hold fresh talks, it was learned today.
Workers at the firm’s factory in Milton Keynes were due to walkout for 24 hours on Thursday, but the action has been called off.
A planned stoppage by staff at the firm’s site in Wakefield yesterday was also halted.
Talks between the company and officials from the Unite union will be held next week.
