Nokia Corporation today warned that up to 46 million batteries used in some of the Finnish company's handsets could be faulty and pose a risk of overheating.

Nokia Corporation today warned that up to 46 million batteries used in some of the Finnish company's handsets could be faulty and pose a risk of overheating.

The advisory applies “only to the 46 million batteries manufactured by Matsushita between December 2005 and November 2006,” the world’s largest mobile phone maker said in Helsinki.
