Popular Dublin Hotels close their doors

Over 600 people are set to lose their jobs as two of Dublin's best known hotels close their doors on Monday.

Jury's hotel and the Berkeley Court will host their last guests this weekend before the two sites are put up for sale.

608 staff at the hotels accepted a redundancy deal offered to them by management.

Both spots were favourites with celebrities and politicians, and their closure will be seen as the end of an era by many.
