Growing puppy toy on way

A toy puppy which grows in size as the child plays with it will launch in the UK.

The touch sensitive dog gradually gets bigger over a period of several days, according to manufacturer Fisher-Price.

It’s mechanical, motorised frame is covered with a soft, fur-like material.

The puppy increases in height by 9cm in height and 7cm in length until it reaches the maximum possible size.

Fisher-Price spokesman Ben Parkhouse said: “This is the first toy of its kind we’ve created and we’re really excited by the reaction so far.”

After four days, the owner can press the puppy’s head to take it back to its original size.

The Puppy Grows and Knows Your Name toy goes on sale next month priced at around £45 (€66).
