Dragons’ Den star and millionaire Deborah Meaden is set to expand her personal fortune further after the sale of her family’s former caravan park business Weststar Holidays to a private equity-owned rival.

Ms Meaden, who sits on the panel of investors for the BBC show, is reported to be netting around £20m (€30m) in the deal, which sees Weststar sold to Parkdean Holidays for £83m (€122m).
