A US company that makes electrical products for the medical industry has announced plans to create 50 new jobs in Co Cork.

A US company that makes electrical products for the medical industry has announced plans to create 50 new jobs in Co Cork.

Sanmina SCI says the jobs will be created as part of a €30m expansion of its plant in Fermoy.

The company already employs 400 permanent staff and 200 temporary staff in the area.
