DSG Ireland reports 29% rise in sales
DSG Ireland, the owner of Currys, Dixons and PC World in Ireland, today announced a further increase in sales for the financial year to 28 April, 2007.
Sales were €195.3m, with like for like sales increasing by 8%.
Total sales grew by 29%.
Declan Ronayne, Managing Director of DSG Ireland said: "DSG Ireland has strengthened its market leading position in Ireland this year. We have a good track record of implementing successful store openings and have recently announced our first franchise operation in Letterkenny. This is part of our long-term strategy to develop the Currys brand throughout Ireland. We look forward to developing franchise partnerships with other independent retailers as we develop towards our medium term aim of 30 Currys locations in Ireland."
