There was a positive mood around the Irish Stock Exchange today as the ISEQ index gained 31.19 points to 9690.81 by 11.35am.

There was a positive mood around the Irish Stock Exchange today as the ISEQ index gained 31.19 points to 9690.81 by 11.35am.

The biggest gain of the day came for Tullow Oil following the announcement of better-than-expected yields from its Mahogany well in Ghana. The energy company soared 63c to €6.64.
