The world’s biggest drinks can maker Rexam today snapped up an American plastic packaging firm for around £800m (€1.2bn).

The world’s biggest drinks can maker Rexam today snapped up an American plastic packaging firm for around £800m (€1.2bn).

Rexam acquired the plastics division of Owen-Illinois, which specialises in healthcare packaging and plastic tops, for US $1.57m (€1.17m), including tax benefits.
