Halfords joins forces with Olympic champion
British car parts and cycles retailer Halfords marked an 8% rise in annual profits today by announcing a partnership with Olympic champion Chris Boardman.
The Boardman range of cycles will cover nine different models and 30 frame sizes at prices of up to £1,400 (€2,067).
Halfords also reported annual results today, with profits up to £83.5m (€123.3m) after like-for-like sales increased 6% on a year earlier.
