Interest rate fears depresses FTSE
London's blue-chips dived into the red today as weak trading on Wall Street and fears over interest rates sparked a sell-off.
The FTSE 100 Index was down 57.3 points at 6575.5 at mid-morning - a fall of nearly 1%.
