Kingfisher sales warmed by outdoor demand

B&Q owner Kingfisher today said sales and profits received a boost during the unseasonally warm weather in April.

Unveiling figures for the 13 weeks to May 5, Kingfisher said trading profits rose 30% to £88.6m (€130m), following a 14.8% gain in total sales to £2.29 bn (€3.36bn).
