Software firm Wax Digital opens Ireland office
Wax Digital, the UK-based spend management software company, has today announced the opening of its new overseas sales office in Dublin.
The new base in Foxrock, Dublin is headed up by Pat Chambers, whose previous experience includes setting up JBA Ireland Ltd and growing the business to become a €6m organisation with customers including IBM, Heinz, Glen Dimplex, Xerox, Beamish and Smurfits.
Wax Digital solutions are already operational in some 23 countries worldwide, but sales and marketing operations have to date been centered on the UK.
Creating an Irish subsidiary is the next stage in the company’s plans to maintain its 50% year on year growth rate.
Managing director Pat Chambers said: "Wax Digital is one of the most successful names in eProcurement and we believe that there is a very healthy appetite in Ireland among mid and large sized companies that recognize the need to better control and measure their spending.
"Our no compromise approach to delivery has really struck a chord with enterprise businesses looking for solutions that marry best practice to genuine flexibility and I am very excited about the prospect of helping some of Ireland’s leading businesses to cut costs and improve processes."
