3 announce new broadband prices

3, Ireland’s mobile media network, today announced new broadband pricing for fixed line and wireless broadband users.

3’s new broadband package offers 10GB of data for just €19.99 per month.

A small, portable USB device at €129 connects a desktop or laptop to their network.

3’s announcement comes as OECD figures place Ireland towards the bottom of the broadband league with only 12% of Irish consumers availing of broadband services.

Recent figures from ComReg show that almost half of Irish businesses report difficulties in accessing broadband due to unavailability.
