Ryaniar leads ISEQ losers
Shares at no-frills airline Ryanair lead a downward spiral on the ISEQ-index this afternoon as the company lost 5% off its shares down 22c at €5.38.
The market reacted quickly to the news that the average fares at Ryanair could fall by 10% in June with the ISEQ dropping 36.92 points at 9572.91.
Elsewhere IL&P plunged 50c at €19.50 as today's worst performer among the financial heavyweights.
Bank of Ireland on the other hand made modest gains with a 18c increase to €16.20 by close. Anglo Irish Bank also inched up gaining 3c at €16.45 while there was no change at AIB at €22.40.
