Union threatens postal strike in UK over pay
The first national postal strike in the UK in a decade was threatened today after union leaders decided to ballot 130,000 postmen and women over industrial action in a row over pay.
The Communication Workers Union rejected a 2.5% offer and agreed a timetable for the ballot, which will start later this month, and be completed on June 7.
